Bio: Raised 3 boys in Salem Oregon. Worked as an educator/administrator. Retired in 2002 and backpacked 5 years. Settled with a Permanent Residency in Oaxaca Mexico in 2006. Travel often; host and surf through Couchsurfing and other hospitality sites. I visit my oldest son, Greg, an anesthesiologist, who recently moved from Las Vegas to Phoenix, Arizona. Doug, growing herb in Oregon and living in Thailand during the winter, and Josh, a chef who migrated from NYC 8 years to Beijing 2 years, to Hong Kong 11 years and Hawaii 2 years. He and his Cantonese wife, Polly, are now moving to Arizona.
